Envisioned as a gateway to the financial and technical development district of Jingiao, the design of the Eon Time project fuses various cues of natural elements through an interwoven language that gives the project a distinct identity while maintaining a high-level of expression and response to the surrounding context of the city.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The podium of the center, inspired by images of a moving glacier, is expressed with strong horizontal gestures in material and form. The varying depths and slight color variation in panels give the face of the project a distinct dynamism and maintain a high-level of comprehension of scale. Broader gestures, expressed through deeper folds in the fa\u00e7ade, form a series of landscaped vistas for public interaction and views of the city. Aiming to capture an entire urban lifestyle, the project features residences alongside a vibrant commercial, entertainment, and dining destination. The architecture responds to a gradual slope from one end of the site to the other through a continuous arching form that wraps the four masses and rises and falls with the elevation. Set on a hot, humid site, Goiania\u2019s overarching theme of water cools the project, psychologically and physically. Water elements and a design vocabulary inspired by the nearby creek round out the \u201cParque das Aguas\u201d concept. The site topography allows for parking to be placed under the main retail level to maximize the site and allow for possible future expansions. The Cinema and Food court areas are placed on this lower level as well, creating a dramatic two level volume that flows out to the existing creek. This indoor\/outdoor space features spectacular views to the rolling hills of the region. Every form and crease in the structure\u2019s skin creates a strong symbiotic relationship with the movements of the public as they circulate within. The towers complete the design, providing a punctuated end to the sweeping form of the commercial and retail base.
