The design philosophy for Parque Comerical Jerez is rooted in the Flamenco tradition of the city. With the Parque de Medianas standing as the building facades that outline the plaza, Parque Comercial Jerez represents the Flamenco performance.

The design philosophy reveals itself with the use of vibrant colors and strong organic forms and horizontal lines that mimic the motion and spirit of Flamenco, as well as the motion of the vehicular traffic around the site. Through changes in color and materiality, the musical notes that accompany the dance are represented along the facades of the building and in the paving. Spectacular roof canopies float over this “dance” while providing rain and sun protection for pedestrians below. Parque Comercial Jerez is a pedestrian oriented lifestyle center that teems with motion, vibrancy and life.
